Lancaster County-Wide Communications Live Status Map Help

Lancaster County 's Live Status Map integrates data from multiple sources into a single map view to provide situational awareness to the county's emergency services and the general public.

• Click the icons at the top of the screen to display Fire, EMS and/or Traffic incidents from LCWC's Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system.
• Click an incident in the list to zoom the map to that incident.
• Click an incident icon on the map to diplay the details of the incident.
• Use the slider on the left to zoom the map in and out.
• Click and drag the map to pan.
• Click the globe icon in the center of the navigation wheel to return the map view to the entire county.

Fire Incidents

Lists fire service incidents from LCWC's Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. The incidents are updated every 2 minutes.

EMS Incidents

EMS incidents from LCWC's Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. The incidents are updated every 2 minutes.

Traffic Incidents

Traffic related police incidents from LCWC's Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) system. The incidents are updated every 2 minutes.

Weather Radar Loop

Shows a loop of the NEXRAD radar for the past 30 minutes at 5 minute intervals. The loop can be paused by clicking the pause button in the window. The map service for the radar data is provided by Iowa State University.

Traffic Cameras

Links to the latest traffic camera image from the PennDOT traffic camera system. Images are updated about every 5 seconds. Click on the camera icon on the map to view the latest image.

River Gauges

Displays information from the USGS AHPS stream gauges for the Susquehanna River and Conestoga River. Click the orange arrow in the gauge list to go to the USGS gauge data web site.
